9/11
On September 11, 2001 I had just moved to the top floor. I looked outside and could see a plane heading for the window. The plane was heading for about the 80th floor. When it hit the building there was such a big shock that I fell to the ground. I was looking down. I watched people jump. I could see firefighters and I pulled out my cell phone and threw it down.
The other plane was also going for about the 80th floor. I looked everywhere for the phone but I could not find it. When I found it I looked out the window I saw people hanging off the building. I picked up the phone and rang home. My wife answered the phone. She asked me if I was OK. I said, “Yes, I was fine.” She put one of the kids on. I said to him that I was going to be gone for a while and when he is older he will understand. Then he put me on to my daughter and I said that my work was on fire and that she might not see me again. She put me on to my wife I told her that I’ll be OK and not to worry. Then BOOM!
I looked at the other tower. I told her I had to go. When I look at the other building it was another plane then I knew it was terrorist attack. People were hanging off the building. I helped people get back up. I thought I might see if elevator was working but it was broken. I got halfway down the stairs when I saw a plane wing blocking the way. I went back to the top and sit there. I looked at the ground and saw what I thought was a . I thought it was a trampoline so I jumped. When I got closer to the ground I saw that it was not a trampoline; it was an american flag.
